So I thought that I would keep up with the current trend, posting the silly things that our son says.
Andrew has learned a new word, difficult.
Andrew: "I difficult."
Andrew, Oma, and me in Jarrod's truck on our way to Bueno.
Andrew: daddy truck. :: points to
dash::
Me: yes, it is.
Andrew: (thinks for a minute)
Where's dada?
Me: He is helping a friend.
Andrew: ( looks around)
No friend! Daddy, daddy, where are you?
Andrew continues to search for daddy the rest of the ride.
Today, Andrew picked up Jarrod's banana peel and was looking for the last little bit of banana. When, at last, he found it, he exclaimed....here you are!! ::chomp:: There you go.
While in Austin, I had to jump out in traffic. As I did so, Andrew ( who previously was throwing a fit) holds on tight to the booster seat handles and once we stop at the light exclaims... SORRY, sorry, no more!

October
So this last month has been crazy busy. Here are just a few of our Halloween activities.

The kids had a blast at Haunted Abilene this year, and so cute too.

Now for some old fashioned fun at Buffalo Gap.

My first whole apple. I ate the core when Momma wasn't looking.

If you couldn't guess, we are the Rubbles and the Flintstones. I even made Andrew's and Jarrod's costumes.

Bam Bam Bam
We went to artwalk tonight. Which, for those of you who don't live in Abilene, is a bunch of artists getting together about once a month. While we were there Andrew watched a parade, saw a waterfall, and got a fish painted on his hand.
But best of all was the Aqua drums concert!!!!!

We also ran into Lily. She was not as thrilled as Andrew.

She preferred to play with the flower ring Andrew picked out for Momma.

All in all, it was great fun.

Beds, Dogs, and Daddy's shoes
So this weekend has been very eventful. First, Andrew made it through the night in his new bed.

He even picked out his own sticker that morning. We then made up his bed with all his friends.

Next he then decided to wear Daddy's shoes to see if they fit now that he is in a big boy bed.

Finally, he ended the weekend with playing with Beau and Wesley.

Long time no see
So I finally got an app on my phone to post on Andrew's blog. So it will now be updated at least monthly for those of you who wish to follow.
Instead of giving you updates of the past year, I think I will just start with today.
Andrew, Lily, and Nathan at the Caring Communities Funraiser.

Andrew really liked the chick-fil-a cows.
All in all it was a wonderful day outside!!
